Yep, Mrs. F is a real artist! She has created works of art for public installations and exhibits, sold many types of artwork, and creates art at home just for fun!
During the quarantined summer of 2020, Mrs. F spent many hours painting this mural inside the front office of Gilbert Elementary. The mural features a desert landscape as well as symbols and icons of the school, Gilbert and Arizona.
Mrs. F was honored to be able to paint the Gilbert Elementary school mascot, the majestic Tiger, on a wall in the front office. It took her 9 hours total.
The bench pictured above is located off of Gilbert Road in Downtown Gilbert, next to Whisky Row. Mrs. F created this bench in 2019 with two other art teachers, Mrs. Bogus & Mrs. Sharma-Shimek.

One of Mrs. F's favorite things to do when the weather is nice is to draw outside with chalk. She has been invited to draw in local festivals and draw large-scale chalk murals.
The mural on the left was a 7-hour long drawing during Gilbert's annual Off the Street Festival.
This 32-foot long chalk river mural was created for the Water = Life festival in Riverview Park in Mesa.
Mrs. F has begun a journey to portray those legendary people in our history that have fought for what they believe in and what is right. This series is inspired by a collaborative school project called "Defenders of Justice."
