Think about these things: 

What techniques are these artists using?  How are they creating art?  Visualize their bodies or hands moving to create the artworks that you see.  

What materials do you think the artist used?  What other materials could be used for this type of drawing? 

What moods, thoughts, or feelings are created by this artwork?  

When is there representational content?  Describe what it looks like when there are marks that are non-representational.  

Plan to integrate some of these techniques into your own original artwork.
