Dave Orr Band
Dave Orr band is a Blues/funk and soul project out of Austin, TX. The quartet is known for their compelling live shows, capturing the attention of both Blues roots crowds and jazz nerds alike.
The original trio began when Australian artist/guitar player - Dave Orr, drummer - Marshall Kummer, and bass player - Ry Dill started playing music together in the fall of 2021.It quickly became apparent they had tapped into something that needed its own musical vehicle.
With a batch of original songs in the setlist for their local gigs, they then found themselves playing some shows with a fourth character. Enter Marcell Coleman - pianos and synthesizers. The group started rehearsing and before long recorded their debut EP at the legendary BUD’S studio with producer/engineer, Sam Patlove.
