An Abilene-born Marine Corps veteran, Chad Boyd has worked oil fields and ranches, bounced at beer joints and traveled the state with his guitar and a deep well of hard-eyed but big-hearted country-folk songs, Boyd has spent nearly 25 years learning and honing his craft as a musical storyteller. Boyd has penned dozens of tales of dreamers, brawlers, outlaws, lovers and soldiers and wanderers and blue-collar strivers that reflect the life he's lived and the lives he's seen along the way. Currently making his home in the Hill Country after memorable stints (and countless gigs) in both the Panhandle and the Brazos Valley, Boyd remains a sought-after friend and collaborator of musicians all over the Lone Star State.
