Inspiration Artist: Pete Cromer 

Everything about Australian artist Pete Cromer’s artwork screams happy; the bright colours and playful shapes, the quirky birds. 

• Pete Cromer is an Australian collage artist and illustrator based in Victoria’s Surf Coast. 

• He grew up loving art, knowing that he eventually wanted to have a job that involved making things with colour and shape.

• He has a degree in graphic design and worked for Hallmark designing greeting cards before he launched his own website with his art, using his unique, simplified view of the world to fuel his creations. 

• Most of his artwork features animals, portraits and fairy tales made from bright colours and simple shapes.
