This is the oath taken by every Georgia State Trooper. These men and women take pride in embracing the core values of law enforcement, with the sole objective of being excellent Georgia State Patrol public service employees. This oath is an ongoing and enduring promise of our commitment to the citizens of the State of Georgia. 

Our Oath: I, __state your name__ of ___your____ County, Georgia, do hereby voluntarily accept an appointment as a __Trooper____ in the Georgia State Patrol. I further swear (or affirm) that I am not the holder of any unaccounted for public monies due the United States, this or any other State, or any political subdivision or authority thereof. I swear (or affirm) that I am not the holder in any office of trust under the government of the United States, any other state, or any foreign state which I am prohibited from holding. I swear (or affirm) that I am otherwise qualified to hold this office according to the Constitution and laws of the State of Georgia. I swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully perform and discharge the duties of my position to the best of my ability and without malice. I swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of the State of Georgia,
