A Message From Colonel Chris Kyle
I am deeply honored and proud to be appointed as your Colonel. This role is a privilege, and I am committed to doing my utmost to make the best updates and improvements for our organization. Many leaders and administrations have served before me, and I intend to draw from their experiences to guide my leadership.
As we move forward, I believe it is crucial to engage with as many of you as possible. Building on the legacies of those who came before us will require all of our efforts and cooperation. My top priority will be to renew old friendships and get acquainted with those whom I have not yet met. To achieve this, I intend to visit every post, spend time with every division, and listen intently to your insights, concerns, and suggestions.
The culture I aim to foster will be collaborative, communicative, and based on trust. I believe that an open and honest environment is essential for our success. Your input and feedback will be invaluable as we work together to strengthen our organization and enhance our service to the community.
The three principles that matter above all else are wisdom, justice, and moderation. Wisdom will guide our decisions, ensuring they are thoughtful and well-informed. Justice will be the foundation of our actions, ensuring fairness and integrity in all we do. Moderation will help us balance our efforts, ensuring sustainable and effective progress.
I am truly glad to have moved to Georgia to continue my law enforcement journey with you. This state has a rich history and a strong community, and I am excited to be a part of it. Together, we will achieve great things and ensure the safety and well-being of our community.
In closing, I want to express my gratitude for your dedication and support. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to build a brighter future for the Georgia State Patrol.
Thank you for your commitment and service.
Best regards,
Colonel Chris Kyle
