Getting to Know You using Google Forms
How to Tweet on Twitter using Screencastify
The "Getting to Know You" Quiz, was used using Google Forms. This Quiz was created to check on my future student's well being. I created this Quiz in my Technology in Education course. The quiz is a multiple choice test asking students some personal questions to better get to know them. This lesson was created to reach out to students and see their likes and dislikes in learning styles and subjects. Some students are more comfortable sharing feelings in a nonverbal setting. This quiz has created a "safe" place for those feelings to be shared.
"How to Tweet on Twitter" is a video with instruction for my future students. This project was made using Screencastify. In a flipped classroom setting, which I think using a video tutorial can come in handy with, students can come to class after already viewing the lesson on video and have a basic understanding of what is going on. If a student doesn't fully grasp or understand the lesson completely in the classroom, they then can go home and re-watch the instructional video. I am also a visual learner so I understand the importance of "seeing" in order to learn. Learning this lesson showed me the importance of Technology in the classroom. Google Forms will be used often via Google Classroom in my future class. I also look forward to using Screencastify and Twitter!

Technology is so important in the classroom for multiple reasons. Twitter is a great way to connect to parents and the community about what is going on in our classroom! I'm so glad that I was able to learn how to use Screencastify as well as show a Twitter post! It is a great way to show that I am capable of differentiating for my future students and keeping in touch with parents!
