Watch 13-year-old hero, Virgil Smith's courageous act of KINDNESS. Virgil went into the Hurricane Harvey flood waters with an air mattress to transport his stranded neighbors to safety. Virgil chose kindness, expecting nothing in return. He even put his own life in danger. In turn, he was awarded an Auggie Award! This was a scholarship to help with school, and a donation to the Harvey relief efforts made in his name.

Sonia, a 16 year old girl looking for a new world within her world joins a community called "Come Lets Dance", established in 2006. This community has helped a poverished town in Uganda with innovative ways to address foreign policy and change. Here they have helped set up farming, schooling, education women, a kids house for homeless children and so much more. A pastor in the town spoke to a women who was helping in the group, he said, "Some people see, and some people do." This statement is profound and even more meaningful because a young 16 year old was interested to make a difference too. Poverty is a bruise, not a tatoo Sonia states, with love, some kisses and time, it too will go away.
