During the summer of 2022, I had the privilege of co-authoring a piece for The Conversation with Tanitiã Munroe, entitled If I could change one thing in education: Community-school partnerships would be top priority. It was a powerful reminder of what is most important in education, particularly as we begin a new school year. Please take a read.
Recently, learners and educators throughout Ontario began working together under very different circumstances. In what has been described by the provincial government as Continuous Learning, and by others as Emergency Remote Learning, Ontario Teachers are again working with their students — not in their classrooms — but rather from their homes.
