Professional Experience outside of the classroom

Future Design School

As an Education Lead at Future Design School, I worked with a team facilitating professional development in schools and districts, and provided support for educators looking to help equip their students with future-ready skills. I also worked to build community through #FDSChat - Twitter chats for educators looking to build future ready competencies in students.

MaRS Teacher in Residence and E-Thinking Pilot with the TDSB

Along with a colleague, I prepared a unit that was promoted through MaRS and the TDSB to assist teachers in their understanding and incorporation of Entrepreneurial Thinking in the classroom.

Bring IT Together (BIT) Conference Innovation Station Presenter

I facilitated conversations around inquiry in the classroom and school through our School-wide Water Inquiry Project.

#tdsbEd Twitter Chat Co-creator

Co-creator of #tdsbEd - Twitter chats for TDSB Educators to share, learn and connect. I was a 2018 recipient of a TDSB Excellence Award for #tdsbEd. Through conversations on trends in Education from STEAM to Mindfulness, it has become an online community of educators dedicated to improving their practice to ensure greater student success, well-being and achievement.
