Purpose-Driven Candles
Purpose-Driven Candles
Candles are everywhere. They’re a dime a dozen, right? The other day, while I was getting some printing done at my local UPS store, I couldn’t help but notice the candles sitting right at the counter. They were on sale, just like the ones you can find in nearly every store. While candles are a common item, I found myself thinking—what really goes into making one? And more importantly, could I make one that was cleaner, more personal, and perhaps even had a deeper purpose?
For years, I’ve dealt with the frustration of black soot staining my ceilings from regular candles. So, I decided to pause and ask myself, What’s in a candle? Can I make one that’s not only cleaner but more meaningful?
My love for fragrance and desire for something that would carry positive energy led me to ask even more questions. And as you’ve probably gathered from my previous posts, when I get curious, I don’t just stop at asking—I dive right in to find the answers. That’s how I ended up on this creative path, exploring the process of candle-making for myself.
I started small, experimenting with different ingredients, materials, and methods. And along the way, I’ve learned so much. The progress I’ve made over the past year has been incredible. Where I was even just a year ago is a far cry from where I am today. I can confidently say now that I create candles with purpose.
What makes my candles different? They're made of coconut wax so that they burn cleaner and longer. They’re infused with crystals, each one chosen to enhance the energy or intention behind the candle. Some candles even come with reflective prompts designed to help you focus, set intentions, or guide you on a path of positivity. Every candle I make carries the hope of bringing good energy and a sense of calm to the space it’s in.
I truly believe that candles are more than just a source of light or fragrance. They can be powerful tools for reflection, healing, and transformation. With every candle I craft, I aim to infuse not just a lovely scent, but a positive energy that will inspire and uplift.
It’s a journey I’m excited to continue, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share it with you.
