Every so often, I find myself swept up in the thrill of discovering a new mold that sparks my creativity and gets me keen to craft something unique. Today was one of those days.

Over the holidays, I was fortunate enough to receive an Amazon gift card. After carefully taking the time to consider what would best fuel my passion for crafting, I decided to splurge on a large bowl mold I’ve had my eye on for quite some time. The idea of using this mold to create candles has been floating around in my mind for a while now, and I couldn't wait to get started.

Of course, like many of us, time tends to be in short supply. Between life’s demands and a never-ending to-do list, I hadn’t yet carved out the time to get my hands into the project. But today—finally—was the day! I dove into my creative space and began making these gorgeous bowls.

For many of my projects, Jesin is my material of choice. It’s perfect because it offers that ideal combination of durability and ease of use. With the mold in hand and my Jesin mixed, I set to work. The process was smooth, and I was over the moon with how the bowls started to come together.

Now, they’re curing, and I’m eagerly anticipating the moment they’re ready to be sealed. Once they’re finished curing, I can move forward with my next step: pouring the wax. Creating beautiful candles in these one-of-a-kind bowls fills me with excitement, and I can already imagine the warm glow they’ll emit once they’re complete.

Crafting is always such a rewarding experience, but there’s something particularly special about working with a new mold that fuels my creativity. I can’t wait to see the final result—and, of course, to share it with all of you!
