Argjiround always says NO to every type of racism.

   We are all people, we are all human, we are all unique, we are all equal. What is making us special is the part of accepting each-other as equal in diversity. Discrimination is meaningless on an  global world of more than 8 billion different people. We have to treat the others the same way we would like to be treated by the others. Gjirokastra is well-known for the coexistence and interaction of different people regardless their nationality, ethnicity origin, gender or religion during all its history. Argjiround as a local family-run business of Gjirokastra is dedicated to protect that good tradition on the modern days and walk in accordance policy of reporting those inappropriate behaviors.

Our actions

We want to let you know more about your rights by bringing you closer to the protecting laws and mechanism that are abiding you. You, a partner, part-time employee, seasonal employee, full-time employee, freelancer, customer and everyone else who can find this useful have to know that you are protected under the:

-EU Equality Directives: Employment Equality Directive (2000/78/EC) and the Racial Equality Directive (2000/43/EC) on equality and non-discrimination.

-Albanian Legislation: Albanian Law on Protection from Discrimination (No. 10221), which ensures protection from discrimination and promotes equality in the workplace and beyond.

AGT is determined  on keeping up and ensuring a non-discriminatory working environment for its staff and beyond.

Please help us by reporting every case you my notice related or not during our activity and we will report them immediately measures and by directing them to the responsive organizations of Albania.
