Argjiro's Castle Tour

Introduction

Argjiro's Castle of Gjirokastra is the biggst castle on Albania and one the biggest Castle on Ballkan peninsula settled over 360 meters above the sea level and a surface of 250 m2. It was founded back to acient times at around 500 BC and was grown every century a little by little untill today like a living creature. After all an albanian idiom says: "Stone by stone you build a Castle / Wall." We will discover together every sliver stone of the castle from inside of it and outside too. There are more than 2500 years of history for this Magnificent ship-shape castle "landend" on top of our city and summarized by our guide on the most possible entertaining way on just 2 hours .
