AQUÍ is also a space for gathering and sharing the ways we see the world.
Each week, together with the children and families who join us, we set up a small screening room and watch films—mostly short films from Peru and the surrounding region, as well as creations made by children themselves.
Film is an art form that brings us closer and helps us reflect on the many different ways of understanding the world. In every session, we watch, we talk, and we create something inspired by the film.
AQUÍ Cinema is a free, community-based activity. The projector we use is generously lent to us by our filmmaker friend Lorena Best Urday, to whom we are always thankful. :)
