Repeat the Sentence

A.  What you need  必要なもの

a) a recording device or a website  録音できる機器（スマホのアプリ等）またはウェブサイト（vocaroo.com等）

b) a notebook or a computer (Word, Pages, Google Docs)  ノートまたはコンピュータ（ワープロソフト）

B.  Process  学習の仕方

1.  Listen to a sentence.

2.  Repeat the sentence aloud and record it.

3.  Listen to your recorded sentence.

4.  Write down your recorded sentence.

5.  Move on to the next one. Repeat (A) through (D)

6.  When finished, check your answer with the answer key. Correct your mistakes.

7.  Practice reading the answer key.

8.  Cover the answer key. Go back and repeat (1) through (4). Practice until you become comfortable.

This question tests the accuracy of your listening and speaking.

D.  Practical Targets  実践目標

• • Level 1: 20% correct, fragmented, unintelligible katakana-English

• • Level 2: 50% correct, clear S-V structure, some characteristics of English speech demonstrated

• • Level 3: 80% correct, clear S-V structure + other elements, many characteristics of English speech demonstrated

• • Level 4: 100% correct, a perfect sentence structure, clear and expressive English speech

E.  Note  注意点

• In the Benchmark Test, you can listen to an audio file only once. However, in this practice, you can play an audio file repeatedly by clicking the <play> button. If you don't pick up any words at all, please take a listen a couple of more times until you have some words. After finishing a set, try it again with fewer listening attempts.
