The Civic Engagement Section of the American Political Science Association was founded in 2020 to promote civic engagement teaching, research, and praxis. The section brings together faculty, staff, teachers, scholars, and practitioners to integrate civic learning and engagement into all areas of the campus experience in order to strengthen democracy.
Panels, publication opportunities, short courses, workshops, webinars, annual awards, and mentoring are part of APSACivic’s commitment to quality scholarship, innovative teaching, and impactful public service.
