About Me

My name is April Arnona, and I am currently enrolled in the MSN Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. For the past four years, I have worked as a primary care nurse in a local clinic, where I’ve developed a passion for building lasting relationships with patients and being a consistent part of their healthcare journey. My long-term goal is to remain in primary care and continue growing my skills as both a clinician and an advocate for my patients.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Accounting in 2008. After a decade in the business and healthcare administration field, I returned to school and completed my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), becoming an RN in 2021. 

Outside of work, I’m happily married and a proud mom to two children, ages 11 and 9. My family is at the center of my life, and we enjoy spending time together both at home and outdoors.
