In the beginning it is said there was nothing before an egg appeared and out hatched the pokemon god Arceus.
A pokemon who had the ability to craft universes and life with it's thousands of hands and light.
The world of Veronora was crafted lovingly by the god, a planet of plenty and before long a lively ecosystem of pokemon called it home.
Arceus watched over their new world and these pokemon for centuries, watching them play, love and grow, an experience it could only watch from above.
The god longed for these feelings, this family, and so it crafted two daughters, Nell and Isra.
The two daughters were splitting images of their mother, but polar opposites like a mirrored image to one another.
For many centuries the trio lived happily as a family, however like mother like daughter, the girls grew curious of the world they watched over.
They begged their mother day and night to let them experience Veronora with their own eyes, Arceus warned them if they were to go, things could never return to how they were, regardless the girls pleaded until eventually and reluctantly Arceus granted their wish.
Crafting her daughters new humanoid bodies Arceus sent their daughters through the stars and clouds to the lush planet below. On arrival the girls were overwhelmed with excitement by all the pokemon and life around them, playing each day and discovering new things,
not yet realizing they could never return home.
Eventually a young Bulbasaur approached Nell, asking what it was like to be a human like she. Inspired by her own mothers generosity and against her sisters advice, Nell transformed the bulbasaur into a young man. Upset by her sisters reckless decision Isra went to explore on her own.
Nell and the bulbasaur man played all day, running and laughing until the sun began to set. It was then the Bulbasaur man asked to go home and Nell realized she couldn't undo what she had done. The bulbasaur was distraught, he could no longer communicate or live with his family,
he thought the deity had cursed him.
"no no, this isn't a curse, it's a blessing, I promise"
Panicked by her mistake, the young deity approached the bulbsaurs family, carefully transforming each one, young and old to their new human bodies. The family of bulbsaurs rejoiced as they were reunited by the deity's plan, but as the goddess watched on at the celebration, a poliwag pulled at her dress. The water pokemon spoke that it was scared it's family would be overpowered by their neighbours new forms, then another standing behind saying it wanted what the bulbsaurs family had, and before Nell knew it she had transformed generations of pokemon into Pokefolk.
When Isra returned she could hardly believe her eyes, once again upset with her sisters actions the two began to argue and fight.
"You can't just mess with the balance, everything has a cost"
Isra recalled their mothers lessons, turning towards the new pokefolk she was determined to fix the balance, if they were now people then they had to pay their due. Suddenly a charazard man lost his fire breath, A zubat his sight, A mother the memory of her child, the young deity casted wildly at random trying to fix and balance her sisters mistake.
The pokefolk distraught ran to Nell's side calling the other sister a witch, a devil, the one who had cursed them.
Isra looked to the pokefolk in disbelief, she was not the one to change their forms as her sister did, she didn't start this, she was just trying to fix things as she'd been taught, or so she thought. With the feeling of bitterness and betrayal balling up in her chest the woman fled, never to be seen again.
The scripts say the daughters were never able to return home and leave Veronora.
Though even if never seen again physically their legacy's lives on through religious groups throughout the world
praising The Blessed one and those who follow The Cursed one.
