Apricorn Crest is a world inspired by Pokemon and
the Story of Seasons / Runefactory games and genre.

This world is populated by small settlements and clans of pokefolk, each with their own unique towns and customs, harbouring a handful of different pokemon species living together in harmony (mostly).

Apricorn Crest came to be when a beautiful valley was discovered, it's valleys walls and mountain crests lined with Apricorn trees that kept it hidden and safe.

With framework of a small town now built,
Apricorn Crest looks to welcome new residents to build their town and community together.

The folk of this world are decedents of ancient pokemon that were blessed by an unknown god to become the
humanoid race they are today. 

Some Pokefolk sport only ears and tails of their family ancestors while others have an even stronger connection with more defined anthro features and coats of fur.

The pokemon that were not decedents of the blessed ancients are simply regular pokemon, living out their lives in the wild. Some pokemon have also been domesticated for companionship as pets.

Although Pokefolk are decedents of pokemon they can not communicate or interact anymore than a human could with a wild animal, these are two separate evolutional trees.

However there has been some change to the wild pokemon, some pokemon are known to be hostile but a new kind of dangerous and vicious monster pokemon have been spotted.
It's best to stay clear of the mines or deep forest, especially at night if you want to stay clear of them.

There are also regular animals found in the woods for hunting as well as farmed for food. Pokefolk do not eat pokemon meat.
