Q: What is the time period/setting for the group? What is the dress code for them?

A: Setting is fantasty so think Rune Factory / Story of Seasons. No modern tech but a lot of pokefolk use their moves to their advantage (sorta like magic usage)

Q: For pokemon with various appearances like Deerling and Forecast, does that mean our character can also change appearance? (eg: changing haircolor/ furcoat colour)

A: Yes! If their nature in the pokemon games is to change with their environment then they can do so here!

Q: Can characters from flying type/bird-based pokemon actually fly? 

A: If the character has the move fly in their move set and the move is canon to their species in the pokemon games then 100% they may use the ablity to fly.

Q: Can characters levitate if their species does like Chandelure or Sinistcha?

A: Yes! As long as they have the ability levitate and its canonly available to their pokemon species

Q: Can water pokemon that have fins have legs on land and fins in water, similar to how a mermaid gets their tail when they come in contact with water? 

A: Characters will need to have legs to keep to an overall humanoid structure so the answer is no sorry but you're welcome to make the species fins their tail or attach them to their legs 

Species Specific Questions

Q: How would Smeargle's move set function given its move sketch?

A: The move sketch makes any move they sketch permanent, in this case you can either start with your current permanent moves or wait until play time and sketch from either a willing Pokefolk player that wants to teach you a move,
or a monster bounty pokemon quest from its listed moves
