This project is a PowerPoint that provides a general overview about the emerging field of asteroid mining.

Lessons Learned

When I was doing the project, I spent the majority of my time conducting nothing but pure researching, as such I learned a considerable amount about the field of asteroid mining. Firstly I learned ways in which people think that asteroid mining will be conducted. I also learned that there were some ethical concerns regarding asteroid mining as well, I did not think that "extra-planetary environments" would be considered worthy of protecting, since they are almost devoid of life. Many people however, do have reservations over human exploitation of these resources, so it was interesting to learn, about, and understand these perspectives.
