PROJECTS

Title: Multiple linear regression model for finding the influencing factors for building temperatures

Synopsis: This project is accomplished involving multiple linear regression for finding the influencing factors for building temperatures might involve collecting data on various factors that could potentially affect the temperature inside a building, such as Relative compactness, Surface Area, Wall Area, Overall Height, Orientation, Glazing Area, Glazing Area Distribution. The data is then used to build a multiple linear regression model, which is a statistical model that can be used to predict the temperature inside the building based on the basis of these different factors. Once the model has been trained, it could be used to identify which factors have the greatest influence the Heating Load & Cooling Load inside the building, and to make predictions about how the temperature is likely to change under different conditions. This information could be used to improve the energy efficiency of the building, or to design more comfortable and livable spaces for its occupants in future.

Title: The Locus of Sex-ratio in India: Over the 20th and early 21st century

Synopsis: In this paper, we have vividly analyzed the sex ratio of India and came to know the alarming rate of our country. We came across the trend of sex-ratio of India by using different statistical means. We are aiming to find out that how political independence influences the sex ratio of India. We will observe that some states and union territories have exceptional variations over the year and also the inter-state variation in sex – ratio are narrowed over the time. Based on the geographical regions the variation of sex- ratio is almost pertinent. We will also get to know how the states are clustered according to the sex-ratio and how are they dispersed over the years. Based on our study we will come to know whether the discrimination is spreading gradually throughout the country or is socialized only in few states.
