The Playlist will default to play from the on board PC sound card.
To change the Playlist sound card:
Click on the Options button in the lower left hand corner of the Playlist window.
Click on Settings
Select Sound Cards ~ the sound card highlighted is the selected play output.
Click to highlight the sound card you wish to play from.
Click to deselect the sound card you don't wish to play from.
Create, edit & switch Users.
Create, & edit Layouts.
Manage software settings.
Start/Stop Automation
Build & Save playlists
Cut, Move, Delete carts
To add carts:
Drag & Drop
Click on Add to Playlist to highlight & click on carts in Library window to add to the end of playlist or in front of selected line. As long as the button is highlighted green you will add to the list.
Click on Add to Playlist again to de-select.
To delete carts:
Select Cart in list & click on Delete
Click on Delete button to highlight green. As long as the Delete button is green, every line clicked on will be deleted.
Click on Delete button again to de-select.
NOTE: 50 is the maximum number of events that may be loaded in the Playlist at one time.
Search by audio files by Cart Number, Title, Text/Artist, Runtime & Type.
The different types of cart are different colors:
(M) Music = Blue
(S/C) Spots = Green
(L) Liners = Purple
& so on.
APEX Live allows the creation of one Hot Keys page.
To add audio files:
Click on Hot Keys.
Click on Options.
Edit Hot Keys
Edit
Click on Add to Hot Keys 1 in the Library windows.
Every cart clicked in the Library window will be added to the Hot Keys page.
To Delete:
Highlight Hot Key you wish to remove.
Click on Delete.
You may delete the entire page, as well.
Shows everything that has played, included Hot Keys.
To create Spot Logs, or BMI/SoundExchange reports, go to Tools Reports Manager.
To see information specific to a file, in the Library, click on the File Info button.
Any info added to the file in Tools, will be displayed here.
Any file may be previewed & then added to the Playlist.
The Preview Player plays from the on board PC sound card.
Each assigned sound card has manual volume control.
By default, it will show the master volume control associated with the On Air Playlist.
To display:
Click on Menu.
Open Window.
Highlight Volume Control.
