Keep track of deadlines - Double check to make sure your assignment outline is current.
Look ahead at future assignments

Use your study groups to help each other prepare
Ask questions if you get confused
Tips for Parents
Check their notes, they should be adding to their notes independently, on an almost daily basis.
Keep track of their progress online. Assignments are generally graded within 24-48 hours of being due.
Help them schedule short and long term assignments
Invite their study group over for a study session

A Word about Notes
Students-
You can copy and paste my notes into a document for your use to make your note taking more efficient
If you want to use the Cornell WIKPIN Note sheet to copy your notes into, that works even better.
For note checks, I am looking for how well you have added to the notes that I have given you. I may intentionally leave whole sections of a chapter out in order that you completely do it yourself.
Also don't forget to add the WIKPIN acronym throughout all of the notes, not just the first couple of headers.
Put the terms into your notes, DON'T just find the definitions online and turn those in. . . its not as effective for long term memory
