Up to 11 open “Student Paper and Poster Competition” awards for student presentations at the Ventura meeting;
As many as 2 “Margaret Trussell Scholarships for Graduate Students” for women-identifying graduate students;
As many as 2 “Ford-Arreola Fieldwork-Archival Research Scholarships” to support student research requiring one or more of the many forms of fieldwork;
The “Eugene Hoerauf Scholarship” to defray the costs of attending the Ventura meeting for a student focusing their studies in Cartography and/or GIS;
As many as 25 open “Travel Grants for Students” to support participation at the Ventura meeting;
Multiple (4 to 7) “APCG Women’s Network Small Grants” to support participation by women-identifying students at the Ventura meeting;
Multiple “African Descent Student Travel Grants” to support participation by students of African ancestry at the Ventura meeting;
Multiple “Indigenous Student Travel Grants” to support participation by students of Indigenous ancestry at the Ventura meeting.

Multiple “Latina/o/e American Travel Scholarships” to support participation by students of Latina/o/e ancestry at the Ventura meeting;
The “Jan Monk Early Career Faculty Research Award” recognizes faculty who are within 5 years of completing their PhD and presenting a paper or poster at the Ventura meeting;
The “Creative Educator Research Award” recognizes educators who do not hold tenured or tenure-track positions at a four-year college or university and are presenting a paper or poster at the Ventura meeting.
