Artist Statement:Â This piece relates to the theme because when I think about being hopeful, I imagine looking at the best in things. In this song, I express looking at life in a positive way. When you look at life and growing up, sometimes you feel eager to be your future self and not your current self. I believe that each period of your life is an important experience and lesson. Life is short and I think that not looking ahead and just being content with your present self is a hopeful way to look at life!

Title: The Hope of Adventure
Details: I used the GarageBand app. I selected multiple Apple Loops (prerecorded instrument beats, melodies, and other background parts), adjusted the tempos and keys, then cut, blended, added dynamics and arranged/overlapped multiple tracks to how I wanted the song to sound like.
Artist Statement: I wanted to create an orchestra piece that represented the hope of adventure. I used Garageband app to piece together 17 prerecorded Apple loops, changing the tempos and keys, then cut, blended and added dynamics from different string instruments/piano to create a new piece of music. By doing this I was able to create my own orchestra. The song makes me think of an adventure that would soon bring a bigger challenge to tackle and cherish knowing that the memory would last forever and never truly disappear, giving me hope for new adventures.

Artist Statement: My song relates to the theme "I'm hopeful because..." as it is about a person who is optimistic about the future because of the people and memories they have made and cherished along their life. While also lifting them up in times of need, the people around this person encourage them and help them gain confidence, positive energy, and assist them into obtaining their promising future.

Artist Statement: I titled my music Morning Bells because when I wake up in the morning it is the start of a new adventure and new possibilities full of hope. The music chime in the beginning reminded me of bells that would start your day. Music often takes me to a land full of possibilities, the same way hope does. When I hear this music, it makes me feel full of hope for the new day.
