Title:  Running Hope 

Artist Statement: I am hopeful because I run. I tried to capture on film the thoughts of a runner. I thought it was important to only hear the runner’s voice and footsteps because when you run, you tend to zone out and concentrate on your own thoughts and rhythm of your footsteps. I think the quietness gives the viewer a sense of what it is like to be the runner and a snapshot of what it is like to enjoy running.
