Research interest

My research interests are aiming at the plant chemical defense mechanisms and also investigation of alternative chemical agents to control plant diseases and pests. Some of my previous research works were evaluation of compounds from Momordica charantia against the American serpentine leafminer or celery leafminer, compounds from Trachyspermum ammi against honeybee pest (small hive beetles). Isolation and characterization of biologically active compounds from medicinal plants are also another area of my research
