The AMS Jazz Band is an after-school group made of 7th and 8th grade students. This group starts in December and runs through May each school year. Students learn the style of the traditional Jazz "Big Band", while playing various classic genres such as swing, blues, latin and rock.

Instrumentation:

Alto Saxes- 2 to 4, Tenor Saxes- 2 to 3, Bari Sax- 1 to 2

Trumpets- 4 to 6

Trombone- 4 to 6

Rhythm Section- Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drum Set, Vibes/Aux Perc
