8th Grade Band meets during the same hour each day, and is split into sections by band staff for rehearsal.
The two method books we will use during the year are pictured and linked below.
Students, by using the code in the front cover of their method book, may create an account on the Essential Elements Interactive website. Here they may hear recordings of the book content, play along with them, use a metronome, and use fun background accompaniments.

Clarinets- Flip Folder and a lyre to connect to clarinet
Saxes- Flip Folder and a lyre (bring instrument to fit)
Trumpet- Flip Folder and lyre (Bring instrument)
OR clip-on bell flip folder
Horn- borrow one from AMS
Trombone- Clip on Bell Flip Folder, trombone specific
Euphonium- borrow one from AMS
Tuba/Sousaphone- regular flip folder, no lyre needed
Percussion- NONE
