The start of a new year always brings a sense of renewal—an opportunity to reassess, realign, and step forward into something greater. For me, this year is about stepping fully into my role as a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, a shift that feels more like an evolution than a change.
This transition isn’t just about professional growth; it’s deeply personal. As a late-diagnosed autistic adult, I’ve spent years navigating life in ways that weren’t always understood by others. I know what it’s like to struggle with expectations that don’t quite fit, to search for guidance that isn’t always there, and to finally discover the power of self-acceptance. My journey has been one of learning, unlearning, and embracing who I truly am. Now, I want to help others do the same.
Psychosocial recovery coaching isn’t just about managing challenges—it’s about uncovering strengths. It’s about helping people build resilience, confidence, and independence in a way that aligns with their authentic selves. I work with individuals facing autism, ADHD, PDA, anxiety, and complex mental health challenges, meeting them where they are and supporting them in ways that feel real and practical. Growth happens when we feel seen and heard, and that’s the kind of space I want to create for those I work with.
Music has always been a major part of my life, not just as an art form but as a means of storytelling and connection. As a musician and mentor, I’ve seen firsthand how creativity can unlock self-awareness and personal growth. That’s something I bring into my practice—helping people find their voice, whether through words, music, or self-expression in any form. I also mentor budding musicians, guiding them not just in their craft but in their journey of self-discovery and confidence-building.
This new role allows me to integrate all the aspects of my experience—lived, learned, and creative—into something that truly aligns with my purpose. It’s not about fixing people or forcing change. It’s about walking alongside them, offering support, tools, and encouragement as they navigate their own paths. It’s about emergence—stepping into the light, embracing growth, and moving forward with purpose.
So, as I step into this year and this new venture, I do so with excitement and a sense of alignment. This is what I’m meant to do. This is where I belong. And I look forward to seeing where this journey leads—not just for me, but for the people I have the privilege to work with.
Here’s to new beginnings, fresh growth, and walking alongside others as they emerge into their own strength.
