Career education is a significant component of the County’s Cradle to Career Roadmap.
SBCROP has expanded support to all San Bernardino County school districts, providing CTE content expertise and resources to assist in developing highly effective CTE programs that help prepare all students to be college and career ready. SBCROP is a county CTE resource that can be leveraged to assist with professional development, pathway alignment, up-skilling, community networking, grant writing, and a host of other workforce readiness activities designed to enhance and support the regional employee pipeline.

Accreditation is a voluntary dual-purpose process that schools (1) must be worthy of the trust placed in them to provide high-quality learning and (2) clearly demonstrate continual self-improvement. An accredited school is focused on a mission and goals for students; it is student-oriented and examines its students’ performance continuously; it accepts objective evaluation from a team of outside peer professionals trained by ACS WASC; it maintains a qualified faculty within an effectively organized school; it collaboratively assesses the quality of its educational programs on a regular basis; and it plans for the future.
San Bernardino County ROP completed its WASC mid-term visit on May 24, 2021. The visit took place virtually and the comments received were positive. This video was created to highlight SBCROP to visiting team.
