The Alliance for Education is made up of two complementary teams - SBConnect and SBCROP. Together these teams work toward the common goal of producing an educated and skilled workforce as identified in the San Bernardino County Cradle to Career Road Map.
2020/2021 presented a number of challenges that required the Alliance for Education to adapt its existing structure and protocols in order to better serve the communities of San Bernardino County. Although the Alliance had expanded its services to include the SBCROP back in 2019, the physical move to the Dorothy Ingram Learning Center happened only two weeks prior to the pandemic's outbreak. Turning challenges into purpose, the Alliance for Education utilized technology to build department culture, repurposed existing supports and resources for districts, and aggressively innovated new ways to expand reach and grow networks.
This report provides its reader the opportunity to learn more about the Alliance for Education, its partners, and its progress towards providing equitable access to career resources for all students across San Bernardino County.
