Project-Based Learning

Year 1 - SETTING THE STAGE. We  must focus on building the pedagogical knowledge needed to connect PBL to the content. Professional development should place educators in learning opportunities where effective PBL integration is modeled within the context of the curriculum. My two year plan will include professional development in the following knowledge domains: technology, pedagogy (PBL), and content.

Certifications

PBWorks Certified Educator (2009)- A summer workshop hosted online by PBWorks.

Google Educator Academy for Administrators (March 5, 2010) - Only 50  educators from around the world were selected to attend this academy. The certification included two days of workshops focused on Google Apps for Education and implementation at the leadership level. The application process included a video component.

Google for Education Basics (2014)- certification for the GAFE suite.
