EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP | INNOVATION PROGRAMS
Objective
LEADERSHIP: I believe being a leader is a privilege earned through hard work and dedication. A leader understands and clearly communicates the vision of the organization and models the expectations. An effective leader will empower his or her followers to be great and contribute to the organization. I consider myself a life-long learner and I commit to using every situation as a learning opportunity to become the leader who will inspire positive change within my organization.
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY: I believe that every student can learn. It is our job as educators to meet the students where they are and create a learning environment that fosters creativity. It is important to have a clear understanding of learning styles and adequately apply that knowledge in every lesson.
In this portfolio, I have addressed the following areas of instruction and leadership:
Principalship- Overview of the design and Implementation of a PreK-6th grade STEAM Academy.
Project Planning: Highlighting the use of the ADDIE model for campus initiatives.
PD Session: Embedding research-based adult learning strategies and strong instructional techniques that are easily transferable to the classroom.
Curriculum: Collaborative teaching efforts in 6th-12th, all subject levels.
Research: Sampling of several doctoral level research projects.
References: Includes letters of recommendation.
