For this assignment, I have to reflect on what I've learned while in CSIT 101.Â
I've learned a few different thing while taking the CSIT101 course. One of the things I learned from the Software and Apps module is the 6x6 Rule. It's when you use 6 bullet points and put 6 words to those bullet points. I've used it twice since then, I used it for a presentation in my communications class for a project on why tattoos are not unprofessional. I also used it in my most recent CSIT presentation for Emerging Technology. I also found out that changing my computer's OS (Operating System) went beyond just changing it's brightness, theme, language, and managing the user accounts. I learned that we can change the cursor size and color, and I did that on my home laptop. I changed it to a light blue! The third thing I learned is that Microsoft Word and PowerPoint work differently online than in the app. With PowerPoint, I learned that you can make WordArt in the app, but not online. In Microsoft Word, the Navigation Pane is different, and here's an example with a screenshot.
The online navigation pane has "Headings, Find, Replace" where the app has "Headings, Pages, Results." Another thing that's different between both Microsoft Word's is where the search document is on the Navigation pane as well as the wording. In the online version, the search says "Search in document" and it's below the options to choose from where in the application it's above the options and says "Search document."
