For this project, I had to find and credit the creators of different media types using Creative Commons.
I found this image by searching "Ford Bronco" on Google with the advanced search of Creative Commons Licenses. The image can also be found on Flickr!
The image is shared under CC BY-SA 2.0, which means anyone can:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
Under the following terms:
Attribution — You must give appropriate credit , provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made . You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
Here is the official credit to the creator with all the appropriate links.

On the left is a sample audio file called Movie_Intro_Fanfare. I used this sound because it is reminded of the intro of a Marvel movie.
I downloaded this audio file which is a wav and then uploaded it to my Google Drive So that I can embed it on my website.
The audio file is shared under CC BY 4.0, which means anyone can:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

This is an example of an animated gif that I found on GIPHY.
An animated gif is an image file that contains different frames of an image shown in sequence to simulate motion.
This animated gif was saved from GIPHY and then uploaded to my website.
There is no notable licensing information or sharing limitations stated. So, I'll be using the TASL rule of thumb which stands for Title, Author, Source, and License.

This is an example of an embedded video.
This video talks about the amount of media that is lost on the internet, and how old content is at a much higher risk of disappearing than new content!
I embedded the code from YouTube where there was no usage policy or licensing information stated. So, I will once again be using the TASL rule of thumb.

Prior to this module, I knew about copyright and some of the laws surrounding it. I didn't know the proper copyright terms though like CC BY-SA 2.0 is Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic and CC BY 4.0 is Attribution 4.0 International. I also learned what the TASL rule of thumb is. It stands for Title, Author, Source, and License. It's what we use when there is no notable licensing information or sharing limitations stated.
