This week i am going to be doing my final live performance where i will be presenting my original composition as well as performing my cover of 'Take On Me'. For the research i am going to be looking into the different types of live perfromance when it comes to video games and film. I am slo going to gather as much feedback as i can from my performance so i can then know what i can work on if i were to do this again.

• I am going to research different live performances of songs from video games and films, i am doing this because i am trying to gather some inspiration how i want performance to be like.

Preparation For Live Performance.

My Final Performance

This clip was recorded straight after my final performance and its everyone who watched it and i also got them to write some feedback while watching the performance.

Production

This week i have done my final rehearsals and setting up the stage. One big benefit by doing this is that i was able to make sure that i was ready for the performance and cleaning up all the imperfections in my cover and making sure i knew how to present my composition. This was a really good opportunity to set up the stage making sure that it was the way i wanted it and it gave me a chance to use my creativity in how i want it to look and having full control of this was really helpful. One thing that didn't go so well when doing this was that i was figuring everything out a few hours before my performance so when it came to it i forgot one thing that had slightly effected my performance, so if i were to do this again i would make sure to get some more time before my performance and make a list of things to make sure everything is sorted before i get on the stage with a crowed.

This week i did my final performance where i presented my composition and performed my cover of Take On Me. The performance went really well because i felt so ready for it and really prepared due to the fact i had spent some time setting up and making sure everything was the way i wanted it. The vocals came through so clear when performing due to the angle i had put the mic so i was singing just over the top of it. When watching it back the lighting i believe was perfect for what i was going for and wasnt making the video and photo on the back of the stage. There was alot emotion in my voice which the audience also pick up on as well as my tone people in the audence also said in my feedback that i had a lot of control when singing also pointing out how much my confidence when performing has improved. I also got some positive feedback on my composition, the audience liked how the music flowed with the video with the fungus and the build up to the characters. One weakness fro my performance is due to the fact that i forgot to turn of the snare drum behind me so at some points in my performance you could hear it due to the vibrations from the speakers. Also i would work more on my confidence when speaking in front of a group of people in the video of my performance you can see how i look a bit nervous. One thing that could have gone better with the composition if i were to do this again i would add a different chord in the build just add a bit more depth and to make sure that i doesn't sound so repetitive.
