Plan

This week i am going to work on my cover because i am going to be performing it next week and i want to make sure its up to the standard that it should be ready for next week. I am going to research into some Logic techniques that i ca add to my composition ready for next week my live performance. I am also going to do some research into microphones for my live performance.

Primary 

• I will do a practical comparison between the two versions of Take on me

Secondary

• Research some Logic techniques that are used in game music 

• Research some microphone techniques.

Perfromance

This week i was able to do some final little touches and rembering how to play the cover song Take on me. This was really useful as i am going to be performing next week and it gave me a chance to learn all the best techniques needed to play the song successfully and confidently. Another thing that was a benefit is that i was able to then focus on the little imperfections of my performance and then work on them to make sure that i am 100% ready for my performance. If i were to do this again i would perform in front of someone and get some feedback on how i can improve it and parts that are good. Next week I will be performing my Take on me cover as well as present my composition and well be evaluation  how that goes.

Also this week i have done some research on logic techniques that game and film composers use. This has been very effective as i have been able to learn more editing techneques that have come in useful when editing my compotion on logic. This has been a good use of time due to the fact i have now learnt loads of new techniques so if were to do this again i would be able to add more stuff to my composition. Weakness One thing that didnt go so well was that i should have done this reasearch earler on in my project so i could have used more of those techniques that i had learned through doing some more indepth research. Next week i will do all my final touches on my logic file because i have learnt a lot from his task that i could add to my won composition and then finally present it with my performance.
