Strengths and Weakness
⋆⑅˚₊One of my greatests strengths in this class is exhibiting good communication skills with my peers. While I am naturally quite, I do believe that I put effort in both talking when dealing with in class assignments or in our teaching groups. In which case, my greatest weakness in not putting the full amount of effort in understanding the material as some of my classmates do. I have reflected on this and need to put in more effort in making sure to when questions when I am struggling on certain material or assignments,
Goals
⋆⑅˚₊I question if I have met the goals I putforth on the first day of school. I show the effort but lack the drive to really hone in on the skills needed to be an excellent teacher in the future. Especially on keeping uo with the Eportfolios. I do not put in the needed hours to get the needed slides done on time. While I do need to set more time aside for studying, I think im relatively doing good in class. I have finally settled in to the "ungrading" system and feel confident that I am not doing my work for a grade but rather for myself. I can always improve on effort but so far, I think im staying relatively on top of my goals.
Through presenting and watching my classmates present, I have learned many things I can do better as a student and future teacher.
Teaching
⋆⑅˚₊I definelty believe that if I were to teach this subject in particular, I would need to study alot more. One of my biggest fears in teaching is definetly making sure I am telling my students the correct information. Its been awhile since I have learned earth science and I am truly humbled. Its far more than I would have accepeted but through learning and studying, I feel as if I can do it.
There is alot of room for improvement on my Eportfolio. So far, I want to get the information on here and worry about making it look nice for later. Through your critic, I feel as if though what I do have is good but could use some look through.
