What I've Learned: I learned a lot of skills in this class that will help me for the future and it's probably one of the most informative classes I've taken at CCBC so far. One of the helpful things learned was navigating email. I learned how to make a signature file and how to create folders for emails to automatically go through, this has greatly helped with organization since I get lot of emails on the daily. The Word and Excel simpaths were the longest but the most informative. I learned how to add citations in word so with the click of a button I can have my citations properly done while writing a paragraph, also with word I learned about the feature that automatically formats the document in a specific style like APA or MLA format. I did't know too much about excel before starting the excel module/simpaths but after I learned a lot of the basics like function/formula equations to calculate the data in the sheet and how to create and edit charts like pie charts or graphs. I think this will be helpful in the future because excel is used widely within the workforce. Something that I found interesting was learning what the terms phishing and ransom ware means, I feel like I've always heard these words and what actions they do but I've never really known the proper term for like a scam email would be phishing.Â
