Denmark
I chose Demark as my country for the Global Group Project. I have always found Denmark to be an interesting country especially because it is one of the oldest countries in Europe with one of the oldest kingdoms. And I also work a remote job where my HR director is from Denmark, so I think it's interesting how I am connected to another person from a different country digitally.

Locations Digital Divide:
Of the population between people 15 to 89 years old, 77% used public digital services at least once a week. In this age group, 7% never used them. Of the 25-34 year olds, 87% used the services at least once a week. The 85-89-year-olds are the least active with 40% using the services at least once a week. Theres definitely a digital divide when it comes to age with younger people using technology more than older/elderly people.
Even though a large part of the Danish population has good digital skills, almost 1,140,000 citizens (23%) from the age group 15-89 years, feel digitally limited. This group is defined based either on the fact that they have been online either never or more than a year ago, or they feel limited to engaging in online activities. Elderly people heavily dominate the group of digitally limited.
Denmark’s population has achieved 69,6% basic digital skills, compared to the EU average of 55.6%. This puts Denmark at 87% of the overall target for the EU 2030 goal, which aims to have 80% of the EU population possessing at least basic digital skills.
