I am a student at the University of Ottawa, studying for a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts. I share a love for animals and the environment, and strive to do what I can to support the planet and everything that lives on it. I believe that it’s important for everyone to consider their relationship with the environment around them, and think about how it may affect the lives of every living being.
Our cities have been designed by humans for humans and in the process of building concrete jungles, we have erased ecosystems that have existed for millennia. Despite this, animals have made extraordinary adaptations to make our urban spaces their own. This anthology celebrates the perseverance of animals in Ottawa and their amazing ability to bring a natural wildness back to urban spaces.
