Days of animal STudies
The scientific and cultural event of the Days of animal STudies aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the relationship between humans and non-human animals. The Days of animal STudies will look at how animals enrich our culture and how humans treat them from different perspectives. One of its main goals is to provide a richer insight into the destructiveness of this treatment and to awaken sensitivity and critical thinking for forming a different approach to animals.
The main organizer of the event is the
Centre for Integrative Bioethics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split.

The conference is held at several locations in and around Split, Croatia. From 2021 the central location of the symposium is the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split.
With a few exceptions, the conference is open for applications every year.
Participants do not pay a registration fee.
The conference is usually held in mid-October.
