4th Days of animal STudies were held from October 19 to 20, 2022 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Split, online on October 21, 2022, and on October 22, 2022, at the Bol Culture Center.
The program publication of the 4th Days of animal STudies was published by the Croatian Bioethical Society in Zagreb. By including additional content, the standard program publication began to grow. It included the story of the winner of the competition for the best children's story about the seagull (Matea Bajamić, Frane the Seagull) and a conversation with the architect Dinko Kovačić (Architect and Birds). The local motif took part in the selection of the central motif, considering the 80th anniversary of the birth of Zdenko Runjić, the Split composer of the famous song Galeb i ja [Seagull and I]. Considering the bilingual nature of the entire booklet, the event is increasingly turning to the international promotion of local animalistic motifs. The program included a scientific conference, book presentations, educational workshops with children, a poetry corner, a lecture, an award for the best children's story about the seagull, and an exhibition of children's works on the same topic. The event also thematized all four groups of people that, as Nikola Visković claims, have a special sensibility towards birds: children, the elderly, saints, and artists.
