TANGHALANG PILIPINO - iKAPWA
· iKAPWA Basic Acting workshop was a 6-day acting workshop attended by aspiring and practicing Filipino practitioners. The workshop process was mainly about the five (5) instruments/tools of an actor and the eight (8) basic efforts in terms of emotions and movement facilitated by Ybes Bagadiong and Antonette Go, actors from the Tanghalang Pilipino. Apple Abatias, Christelyn Pulma and Jeff Ivan Villafuerte were the Teatro Kaanyag members who attended the said workshop. This was held last April 17-18, 24-25, and May 01-02, 2021 via Zoom sessions.Participants were able to share their personal experiences and were exposed to hands-on activities that enables them to apply their learnings for every session. The workshop ended with a grand recital. All participants were given a chance to be part of the prepared production. It was entitled “RECONN-ACTING lang po…” with excerpts from “Ang Pag-uusig” and “Katsuri”. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, they were able to present the production virtually.
