Welcome to our Build Your Own Pottery section ~ a space dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on expression.
Here, you’ll create your piece from the ground up using traditional hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab work.
This section is for one-time Build Your Own sessions, ideal for a relaxed, creative visit where you design your own piece!
Once your work is complete, please notify a team member, and we’ll guide you through the next steps for drying, glazing, and firing.
We invite you to enjoy the process, experiment freely, and take pride in creating something entirely your own!
Pick Your Clay and Amount
Choose the clay type you’d like to work with, then decide how much you’ll need for your project. If you end up with extra clay, you’re welcome to return the unused portion for a refund.

Pick Your Glaze

We'll Fire It For You
Once you’re done, we’ll handle the kiln work and let you know when it’s ready to take home.
Please note
Our studio is not temperature regulated. Conditions may vary depending on the weather, so we recommend dressing comfortably and appropriately for the season. If a themed class is being held at Studio 406, then it will be temperature regulated.
Glazing and firing costs are not included in the listed price, but can be added when you’re ready to finish your piece.
