About me
Hello! My name is Anastasiya. I was born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I am mixed race, my father is Chinese and my mother is Russian and Korean.
After graduating high school i went to China at the age of 15 to continue my studies. I finished 1 year in chinese high school and was accepted into Chongqing Technology and Business University in the major of environmental design. After graduating i started working as a graphic designer and i found out about the field of UX. I started learning about it and decided to take courses prepared by Google. I liked everything about UX and i know i can be very helpful! I come from a third world country and being mixed race here i learned a lot about what its like being excluded from society. I am very empathetic and i can understand different views an opinions of people and i thought that this skill of mine is perfect for UX Design.
I continue learning and expanding my skills because i want to be a great UX Designer. My goal is to excel in design, to make experiences equitable, inclusive, innovative and beautiful!
Previosly i was a rythmic gymnast, i was in the second part of the national team of rythmic gymnastics and was very succesful in sports. Having a lot of pressure as a kid to represent my country on competitions, i have perfected a skill of staying calm while on pressure and work my way through it. This experience was very valuable to me and i continue using my skills perfectly to this day.
Besides design i really enjoy drawing, listening to music, dancing and singing.
I also like playing videogames and i am very good at it ;)
I have also finished courses in SFX Make up in Chengdu, China because i enjoyed creating make up.
I had an internship after finishing my courses and went with chinese E-sports team "WE" on their video shooting.
I learned a lot during my studies, i gained a lot of experience in working with clients, gained knowledge on a process of shooting films and ads, as well as developed my chinese language knowledge further.
Other achievements that i am very proud of are graduating university and finishing UX courses!
When i went to university i only knew Russian language. During my time in China i was able to learn English to Advanced level and Chinese to Intermediate.
This knowledge helped me join Google UX Design courses in English and learn about User Experience Design.
